He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Ascher and Erna Sauer; his wife Nubia Ascher; his children, Yvonne Ascher (Leonard Laub), Michael (Haidee Ascher), David (Tammy Ascher), Greg (Tish Laemmle) and Jessica Laemmle; his grandchildren, Jacob, Julia Laub, Aaron, MaryBeth Laub, Rayley Ascher, Zander Ascher and Walter Ascher; his great grandchildren, Maeva Ascher and Noa Ascher; his nephew Juan David Velasquez; and his niece Angie Velasquez Thornton.
