She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolfs Brakovskis and Aleksandra Brakovskis. She is survived by: her husband Jānis; her children, Andris Lacis (Tracy) of Reisterstown, MD, Ivars Lacis (Laura) of Peachtree City, GA and Kaiva Lacis-Huff (Brian Huff) of Orange Beach, AL; and her grandchildren, Ashley Lacis, John Lacis (Anne), Nicholas Lacis (Nicole), Daniel Lacis (Macie), Mary Lacis, Kristiann Sullivan (Joshua), Benjamin Huff (Alisha) and Kyle Huff (Megan).
