He is survived by: his wife Connie Cole-Ritch; his grandchildren, Rory Hofstatter (Brooke), Kyle Hofstatter (Molly), Joshua Hofstatter, Alec Marnoch, Gillian Marnoch, Joseph Lahren (Annie), Sarah Winstead and Riley Winstead; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Brody, Emma and Tommy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Los Angeles Zoo.
