He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Christopher and Alma Christopher (Klein); and his siblings, Irene Castellaw and Harlan. He is survived by: his children, Gary (Kaz), Dale (Sandra) and Jan (Mike); his wife Toni Christopher; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Roger), Mark, Sarah (Brian), Jonathan (Sarah), Brandon (Ashley), Sharon (James), Ruth (Cyrus), Nathan and Ben; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Juliana, Will, Jeremiah, Ethan, Samuel, Riley, Amelia, Emma, Maggie, Harper, Wyatt, Jack and Avery.
