She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Keizo Tamiya and Yasu Tamiya; her children, Michael of Leesburg, VA, Stephen of Johns Creek, GA. and Ann (Steven Cunningham); her husband Ken Furukawa; her son Ronald Furukawa of Centreville, VA; her grandchildren, Kyle St. Gelais and Samantha (Joseph Francisco); and her great grandchild Noah Francisco of Simi Valley.
