She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherwood Taber and Hazel Taber; and her husband Esdel Paul Mixon. She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Mixon and Colette Simmons; and her grandson Brian Mixon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.

Louise Taber Mixon, 92, died Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Camarillo, California after suffering from Alzheimer's dementia for several years.
