He is survived by: his wife Jean Ferrer Chavez Hinojosa; his children, Louis (Monica), Felicia Gewerth (Ron), Michael, Matthew and Lucy Peterschmidt (Chris); his siblings, Lawrence Hinojosa and Lorraine Collins; his uncle David Hinojosa; his pet Alfred; and his toy Fox Terrier. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reardon Simi Valley Funeral Home (2636 Sycamore Dr, Simi Valley, CA 93065).
