He was predeceased by: his parents, Rick Murphy and Kay Murphy; and his sister Nancy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia; his son Shawn Iwaoka of Simi Valley; his sisters, Sue Sale (Bob) of Roseville, Peggy Podratz (late Curt) of Simi Valley, Judy Coppedge (Darrell) of Las Vegas, Ellen Hosack (Jeff) of Castaic and Donna Murphy of Las Vegas; and also Joe. He is also survived by 22 nieces and nephews.
