It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Francis Hovell (Simi Valley, California), born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepmother Hazel Hovell. He is survived by: his wife Gabriella Marie Hovell; his children, Jeryl Eileen Hovell (Tim Roe), Teddi Lavey (Tom), Kenny Thorne, Daniel Ray Prescott (Ann), Randy Lee Prescott (Sue), Victoria Gonzalez (Daniel), Rachel Cervantes (Rigo) and Richard Portilla (Danielle); and his sisters, Judy Richardson (Dave) and Pat Dixon. He is also survived by several other Nieces and Nephews.
