She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Sklenar and Anna Sklenar; her brother Charles Sklenar; her husband Timothy Root; her son Dennis Bursley; and her former husband Richard Bursley.
She is survived by: her children, Gayle Wingate, Calvin Bursley, Pat Bursley, Timothy Root, Colette Ranallo and Patricia Root Bursley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
