He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Alice E. Mendoza; his parent-in-law Mateo V. Mendoza; his former wife Ernestine; his children, Alfred Mendoza, Jr., Elizabeth Mendoza and Ernest Mendoza; his former spouse Tresa Ingram; his sons, Jeffery C. Mendoza (Capitol Heights, MD) and Benjamin S. Mendoza of Kerrville, TX; his wife Mary Garcia; and his goddaughter Julie Hernandez. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
