He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Fogarty; his daughter Ellie; his siblings, Mary, Richard and Tony; his nephew Michael; his niece Denise; and his parents, Reinhard Schuermann and Maria Schuermann.
He is survived by: his children, A. J., Chris, Kathy and Maggie; his son-in-law Danny; his grandson Cody; and his nieces and nephews, Marlene, Kitty, Reenie, Janice, Kenneth and Robert. He is also survived by his family as a devoted husband to his beloved wife and hero to his children.
