It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred John Schuermann (Simi Valley, California), born in New York, New York, who passed away on October 7, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eleanor Fogarty; his daughter Ellie; his siblings, Mary, Richard and Tony; his nephew Michael; his niece Denise; and his parents, Reinhard Schuermann and Maria Schuermann.
He is survived by: his children, A. J., Chris, Kathy and Maggie; his son-in-law Danny; his grandson Cody; and his nieces and nephews, Marlene, Kitty, Reenie, Janice, Kenneth and Robert. He is also survived by his family as a devoted husband to his beloved wife and hero to his children.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church (1305 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA 93065). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at the Assumption Cemetery (1380 Fitzgerald Rd, Simi Valley, CA 93065).
