“My husband and I bought Marilyn’s dads house right next store to hers in March 1988 and we became fast friends. We would sit on her front pouch and talk for hours. I remember when I was going to the hospital to have my son she ran out to the car and said to me I knew you were going to have an Easter baby and now you need to call it Bunny and I said what if it’s a boy and she said call it bunny anyway. I will always remember her laugh and positive attitude. She loved her family and life.”

“I will dearly miss you old friend. We attended Kindergarten, grade school and high school together. Even got our first job with the CB&Q railroad in Chicago. We lived on the same street all through those years. We kept in touch all those years and when you called to say good bye, I was heartbroken. You are in my prayers and always in my heart.. To the family I can only offer my sympathy and tell you what a wonderful person you had for a Mom.”
