He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ernest "Ernie" Luttge and Mary Edrie Lyons Luttge; his aunt Marg; his grandparents, John Ernest, Bertha Luttge, Anace and Rose Lyons; his aunts and uncles, Fred, Edna Luttge, Margaret Lyons Boone Glass, Norman "Bud" Glass, Ed and June Lyons; his cousins, Ronald Boone and Patrick Lyons; and his friends, Al Ford and Jack Bryant.
He is survived by: his cousins, Gail Boone, Charles Lyons (Jan), Linda Lyons, Debi Boone Dutra, Rebecca Boone Miller, Cindy Boone, David Boone (Alma), Michael Lyons, Oliver Lyons (Lucy) and Maggie Lyons Ryan (Terry); and his close friends, Warren Bakley, Linda Stones, Willie O'Malley, Bob Cruz, Dolores Tukich, Lucille Adamcik, Cal and Rosemary Wilvert (Stollmeyer). He is also survived by cousins, godchildren, and "adopted" nieces and nephews.
Because of COVID-19, a small outside service will be held at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Catholic Church in Encino, followed by a burial at San Fernando Mission Cemetery.
