He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Curtis of Bellflower, California; his son Gregory Turpin (Carla Turpin) of New Iberia; his grandchildren, Nakita Sloan (Matthew Sloan), Dallas Turpin (Breanna Turpin) and Avalea Turpin; his great grandchildren, Franklin Sloan, Raiden Hammond, Scarlett Hammond, Harvey Turpin and Irelyn Turpin; his niece Stacey Cohen; and his nephew Jeffery Turpin.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations to be made at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital Rehabilitation Center in Downey, California.
