She was predeceased by: her daughter Kari; her parents, Roy and Pearl; and her siblings, Roy Jr. and Laura.

She is survived by: her husband Lou Gomez; her sisters, Dorothy and Francis; and her daughters, Michelle Nelson, Lisa Gomez-Wilson and Elizabeth Martinez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
