Robert Harold Merz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Harold Merz (Shafter, California), who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Wilson Merz and Martin Robert Merz; and his siblings, Frederick and Betty Bolin (Dee). He is survived by: his grandson Stephen Matthew Merz; his former wives, Caroline and Donna Dalke Lynch Merz; his wife Vivian Handel Baze Merz; his brother Martin Daniel Merz (Joan); his children, Stephen Merz Rebecca (Marcia), Janet Merz (James Bruce), Eric Merz Martina (Gaylene) and Aaron (Leandra); and his grandchildren, Ava, Jabari, Jasmine, Marianne and Suzanne (Shane Reno). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Valle de Gracia mission works through Ebenezer Reformed Church, Shafter CA..
