He was predeceased by: his wife Theodora Soto; his mother Petra Ramos Soto; and his siblings, Luis Soto, Cruz Soto and Enriqueta Valdez.
He is survived by: his children, Zulema "Zully" Soto, Raul A. Soto and Israel Rene Soto; his grandchildren, Vanessa, George, Alex, Jasmin, Lucinda, Sophia and Margaret; and his great grandchildren, Eliseo, Luke, Eneko and Lennon.
