He was predeceased by: his parents, Laymond Moore and Mary Alice Moore; and his brother Laymond Lee Moore. He is survived by: his close friend Ronda Moore; his children, Mindy Powell, Boyd Moore Jr., Erica Powell and Jennifer Gama; and his siblings, Loyd, Floyd Moore and Brenda Spolini. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
