It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Tawney of Sebastopol, California, born in Deptford, London, who passed away on November 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gordon Tawney; her children, Gary Tawney (Denita), Jeffrey Tawney (Lynda) of Sebastopol, Steve Tawney (Trudy) of Santa Rosa, Dave Tawney (Barbara) of Santa Rosa, Ray Tawney (Theresa) of Santa Rosa, Sheila Pearson (Thomas) of Santa Rosa and Shirley Tawney of Santa Rosa; her siblings, Joyce Bianculli of Clovis and Dennis Mitchell (Jan) of England; her sister-in-law Roberta Merchen (Bernie) of Lakeport; her brother Ronald Mitchell (England); and her parents, Sydney P. Mitchell and May L. Mitchell. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Norma's favorite charities which included Shriner's Hospital, St. Judes Hospital, March of Dimes and Toys for Tots.
