He is survived by: his wife Karen Skelgaard; his son Thomas (Erica); his grandchildren, Mack, Nevaeh and Miles; and his siblings, Allen (Sherry), William (Diane), Gary (Louise), Lynn Petersen, Joyce Petersen, Adele Barclay (Leo) and Susan Lawlor (Gary). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
