She was predeceased by: her parents, Ligaya and Hilarion Junsay; and her husband Robert T. Hatcher. She is survived by: her siblings, Julito (Joan), Ruben (Evangeline), Larry, Diana and Henry (Celia). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, her husband's grand and great grandchildren and many friends.
Joy requested no flowers, but suggested donations be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Monterey County (Seaside), The Marina Foundation & The Village Project in Seaside.
