It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josie Woodruff of Seaside, California, born in Americus, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Burton and Mamie Nixon; her children, Wanda Woodruff, Oneita Woodruff, Joe Woodruff and Alfred Woodruff Jr.; and her granddaughter Jasmine Pellum.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marie Woodruff, Juanita Woodruff, Judy Martin and Irma Woodruff. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
