He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hartley; his children, Rodwick Johnson, Theodore Black (Anna), Randy Black (Faith), Nancy Black (Alfred) and Charles Smith (Tanisha); his brother George Hartley (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Chris Hartley, Dr. Perry Crouch (Annabell) and Vertisee Crouch (Stephanie); and his nephew Green. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Great grandchildren, nieces nephews and cousins.
