She was predeceased by: her daughter Blythe Palmer. She is survived by: her sister Doris Cummings Ford of Buffalo; her children, Nicolas Palmer of Seaside, Akila Gibbs (Albert) of Los Angeles, Eugene Palmer (Jeanie) and George Palmer (Daura) of Seaside; and also Del Rey Oaks. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She lost her long courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
