It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Macchiarella of Scotts Valley, California, who passed away on September 17, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard "Doc" Macchiarella and Dorothy Macchiarella (Stokx). He is survived by: his wife Julie Palmieri; his children, Trisha Ann Macchiarella (Dwain) and Thomas Leonard Macchiarella II (Tawnya); his grandchildren, Benjamin Thomas Christensen, Andrew Michael Christensen, Nicole Catherine Christensen, Ava Marie Macchiarella, Jeremy Frank Macchiarella, Matthew Leonard Macchiarella and Nicholas Richard Macchiarella; and his sisters, Tina Simila, Teri Smith and Lisa Bell.
His later years were spent briefly in Shingle Springs, California, before returning to Scotts Valley to battle Alzheimer's Disease.
