He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Gregory Montague, Debra Goldsmith and Douglas Montague; his grandchildren, Brittany Erez and Brannum Goldsmith; his great grandchild Sivane; and his stepchildren, David Gassaway, Lynette Sedenquist and Tim Gassaway.

In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Hospice of Santa Cruz County, 940 Disc Drive Scotts Valley, CA 95066.
