He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dement and Nina Marie Church (Porter); and his parents-in-law, Leonard, Hazel Lassley, Wanda (Lassley) and Bill Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Church; his daughters, Debra Nilsen (Randy), Cynthia Church and Julia Wardle (Luke); his grandchildren, Tracey Nilsen (Marianne), Donald Nilsen, Nyna Peck (Cameron), Phoebe Sederholm (Jarom), Sophie, Jed, Zeke and Ellie Wardle; his great grandchild Peyton (Nilsen); his siblings-in-law, Shirley Sweet, Roxie Nicewonger and George Nicewonger; and his caregivers, Peter, Jacob, Allison, Kay and Shirley. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many dear and loving friends.
