Mark Joseph Flaviani Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Joseph Flaviani (Santa Rosa, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 66. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mark Joseph Flaviani to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ignazio Flaviani and Mafalda Flaviani; his parents-in-law, Arthur Adcox and Dorothy Adcox; and his brother-in-law Philip Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Penelope Flaviani; his son Geoffrey Flaviani; his siblings, Victor (Laura), Anna, Sandra, Mario (Daniela) and Angela Flaviani; his nieces, Olivia, Carina Bagley and Kiara Flaviani; his cousins, Elena and Flavio Flaviani; and his brother-in-law Garry Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses (1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95405). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2930 Bennett Valley Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. During the pandemic, Mark came to the office every day to ensure the coordination between departments.
In lieu of flowers, Mark's family has asked donations be made in his honor to The Press Democrat Journalism Trust.
