With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavon Lee Covington (Santa Rosa, California), born in Forestville, California, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lavon Lee leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parent Gravenstein; and her husband Neil Covington. She is survived by: her brother Wayne S. Speer of Forestville; and her children, Lawrence Mathis (Larry), Lorenda Mathis (Lori), Lee-Ann Mathis and Scot Covington. She is also survived by her children, nine grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
