He was predeceased by: his parents, George Minturn Heywood and Gladys Hazel Ross; and his siblings, Louis Heywood, Dominic Simon and Dorothy Simon (Zachary Davis-Belenger).
He is survived by: his wife Laurajean; his children, Steven Rick (Mary) and Linda Davis (Carol Wolther); and his grandchildren, Jeanette Parker (Ben), Adam Rick (Katherine), Carolyn Youngman (Ryan) and Michael Forino. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
