She was predeceased by: her son Scott Smith; and her husband Vernon Hector Bowen. She is survived by: her children, Teri White (Bob) of Nashville, Tennessee, Linda Calegari (Rodney) of Petaluma and Steven Bowen (Cathy) of Gig Harbor; and her significant other Betty Mitchell. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
