He is survived by: his wife Patricia Egan; his daughters, Candace and Catherine Egan; his granddaughter Evelyn Walker; and his siblings, Patricia Egan Turner, Margaret Egan Barker and Paul E. Egan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
