She was predeceased by: her parents, Carolina Muñoz and Ramon Muñoz; and her siblings, Emma Pinales, Juan and Lorenzo Muñoz.
She is survived by: her husband Filimon Hinojosa; her daughters, Roxanne Leyva (Martin Palomares), Cynthia Frutos (Tommy) and Yvonne Leyva; her grandchildren, Vanessa Peck (Brian), Jessica Robinson (Jesse), Jesse Ramos, Celeste Palomares, Alyssa Frutos, Tomas Frutos, Joey Frutos, Eric Zirate and Erica Zirate; and her great grandchildren, Elyce, Ava Peck, Nova and Iris. She is also survived by brothers, sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
