She was predeceased by: her sons, Danny Aguirre and Richard Aguirre; her grandson Deputy Peter J. Aguirre; her children-in-law, Jennie Aguirre and Jose Luis Vargas; her father Francisco Perez; and her sisters, Francis Galvan, Lily Silvas and Gloria Ramirez.

She is survived by: her children, Anita Aguirre, Peter Aguirre (Marie), Yvonne Vargas (late Jose Luis Vargas) and Don Aguirre Jr. (Maria); her grandchildren, Dominic (Susan), Claudia (Eric), Annette (Anthony), Ronnie, Daniel, Tommy, Aileen (Eddie), Erica (Thomas), Vivinne, Jeanine (Jess), Monique (Bob), Nicole, Richard Jr and Ryan; her siblings, Jennie Vargas, Connie Ybarra, Helen Winbush and David Perez; and her husband Don Aguirre. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
