He is survived by: his mother Alice Lopez Herron; his siblings, Annette Vera, Kim Castillo, Lillian Herron, Kenny, Scott, Brian and Jeremy; his uncle Ritchie Lopez; his grandmother Lily Lopez; his close friend Scott McCoy; and his grandparents, Joe Lopez, Clarence and Martha Herron of Kansas.
