He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolas Reyes and Amalia Reyes; and his son-in-law Carlos Cruz (Eva Reyes). He is survived by: his wife Eva Reyes Rostro; and his children, David Jr., Javier, Carlos (Gina), Roberto, Cynthia (Carlos Cruz), Eduardo (Julie) and Alma Rosa (Juan Olmos). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
