He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, Steve Sanchez (Ernestine) of Sacramento, Jerry Sanchez (Sheila) of Sacramento, David Lee Sanchez (Ann) of Sacramento and Tina Castaneda (Gonzalo) of Fillmore; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Sanchez, Veronica Sanchez, Eric Sanchez, Sara Sanchez, Audrey Sanchez, Tonisha Pacheco and Jacob Castaneda.

Funeral services will be privately held due to COVID-19 restrictions.
