He is survived by: his friend Jim; his spouse Dorthula; his children, Renetta De Shields (Nathaniel) of Las Vegas, NV, Denise Bailey (Darrell) of San Antonio, TX, Spencer Pennick (Loretta) of Virginia and James Pennick II of Clovis, CA; his siblings, Carol Gard and Howard Pennick, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; and his grandchildren, Marques Harrold (CA), James Bailey (CA), Tiffany Keith (TX), Craig Bailey (TX), Cara Wesley (OK), Spencer Pennick (TX), Brandy Rogers, Brian Pennick (VA) and Shaun Mariah Pennick (CA). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
