We are sad to announce that on July 30, 2018, at the age of 88, Martha Marie Berry Chiocchi (Santa Monica, California), born in Marthaville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Henry Jr. and Margie Hartgrove. She is survived by: her parents, Henry Arthur Berry and Lula Virginia Olliff; her children, Frank, Paula, Bill, Susan, John and James; her sister Evelyn Strong; and her grandchildren, Alex, Kai, Christina, Henry and Luca.
Faced with failing eyesight and the relentless encroachment of dementia and Alzheimer's, she was never once heard to complain but instead lived with a grace and humor that stunned and humbled those who spent cherished time with her, including her wonderful caretakers Mora, Lupe and Cathy.
