It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Santiago Olvera Salutan Sr. of Santa Maria, California, who passed away on February 1, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Olvera Salutan and Santiago M. Salutan, Sr.; his brothers, Guadalupe, Romualdo O. Salutan, Sr. (Paul) and Edward O. Salutan (Eddie); and his sister-in-law Donna Yates Salutan.

He is survived by: his wife Rhona Tejada Salutan; his siblings, Rosalie Marquez (Bill), Susie Escorzon (Baker Figueroa) and Victor Salutan; his children, Pete Salutan (Ivonne), Lorraine Salutan (Jay), Santiago Salutan Jr. (Stevie) and Mary Rose Domingues (Chad); and his stepson Bonnieklien Bracken. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
