She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Gaeta and Carrie Gaeta; her brothers, Dominic, Russell Gaeta and Duane Caldwell; and her children, Gary Caldwell, Lydia (O'Neil), Stephen (Marian), Carol (Brian), Loretta (David) and Christine (Bill). She was also cherished by her ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Rose, or "Rosie" as her friends and family knew her, attended Our Lady of Loretto Catholic grade school where a foundation was laid for her deep and constant faith in God.
