With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Newark (Santa Maria, California), born in Saint Charles, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; and his daughter Kristin. He is survived by: his children, Sherri and Ron (Sharon); his grandchildren, Sean (Lauren), Jaqi (Matt), Cydney, Jocelyn (Danny), Anastasia, Seth (Maria), Madelyn and Claire (Steven); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Landon, Layla, Tristin, Presley, Tegan, Irelynn, Hudson, Aubrey, Drew and Jordan; and his caregivers, Jen, Rebecca, Alyssa and Marissa.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church (4380 Orcutt Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93455).
In honor of Ron's lifelong generosity and his belief that no child should suffer, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
