She was predeceased by: her husband Karl VanMetre; her brother Joe Vinson; and her stepsons, Ken VanMetre and Joe VanMetre. She is survived by: her former spouse Lou Hornbeck; her children, Ken Hornbeck, Marilou Johns, Laura Harris and Judy Jones; her stepchildren, Frank VanMetre, Joan Careyette, Karla Irby, Sandy Brown and Christine Monroe; and her sister Ivy Geiger. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sons-in-law and daughters-in-law.
