He was predeceased by: his parents, Onofre (Refugio Guizar) and Michoacan; and his siblings, Maria, Jose, Roberto, Luis and Olivia.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Heredia Guizar; and his children, Joe Guizar (Anna), Mary Ortiz (Richard), Albert Guizar (Pam), Isabel Blanco (Bobby), Anita Diaz (Jeff) and Manuel Guizar (Melida). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren (2 more on the way), and two great great grandchildren.
