With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lourdes (Lu) F. Curaza of Santa Maria, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Discoro Ituralde and Josie Ituralde; her daughter Josefa Curaza (Sefa); her husband Benjamin Curaza (Butch); and her granddaughter Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Curaza Jr., Janice Guenther (Jim), Janet Bailes (John) and David Estalio; her grandchildren, Jocelyn and Andrea; her great grandchildren, Janea, Mikey and Keshawn; her great great grandchildren, Kyrie, Kennedi and Kenyon; her brother Joe; her sister-in-law Claudine Ituralde; her brother Roy Ituralde; and also, Dan and Jessica.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary (1003 E Stowell Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Mary of the Assumption Church (414 E Church St, Santa Maria, CA 93454).
