He was predeceased by: his father William Leal; his wife Suzann Loomis Leal (Loomis); his mother Isabel Leal (Ramalho); and his siblings, Melvin Leal, George Leal and Hilda Bisho.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Leal (George) and Tim Leal (Stacy); his grandchildren, Trevor Leal (Monique) and Triana Sims (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Bradyn and Braxton Leal.
