It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Marie Vicory of Santa Maria, California, born in Neosho, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry F. Vicory; her parents, Robert C. Porter and Virginia E. Porter (Smith); and her sister Anna Marie Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Opal Vicory (Mike) of Santa Maria, California.; her stepdaughter Tammie Davenport (Richard) of Joplin; her siblings, Wanda Turner (Don) of Neosho and Nathan Smith of Joplin; her grandchildren, Kimberly Slaton of Los Osos, Alex Ortiz of Nipomo, Michael Ortiz of Nipomo, Matthew Ortiz of Nipomo, Kyle Smeda of Nipomo and Shane Smeda of Nipomo; her stepgranddaughter Natasha Housley (William) of Seneca; her son Caleb Davenport of Joplin; her niece Evelyn Gilstrap Seneca (Rodney); her nephew Levi Wade; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Wellford, Aubree Robins, Kayden Slaton, Avalynn Kay Slaton and Raymond Ortiz of Nipomo California. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice in Santa Maria California in memory of Katherine Vicory.
