He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Centeno and Pascuala Centeno; and his siblings, Arnold, Sal, Mary Hood and Rosemary Keith.
He is survived by: his friend Jimmy Sanchez; his children, Brandi Centeno-Clark (Bill Clark) and Joseph Centeno (Rachel Zonca); his close friend Frank Salazar; his grandsons, Joseph Jr. (Jimi Moushon-Centeno) and Trini Ybarra; his great grandchildren, Joseph III, Zoey and Alex Ybarra; his siblings, John (Bobbie Tibbils) and Connie Centeno Quigley (Fred Quigley); and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Juanita Centeno. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
