He was predeceased by: his parents, James Homer Burress and Theresia Burress (Heil); and his brothers, Robert, Chester, John and Paul Burress.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Burress (Murray); his son Paul Burress (Tammy); his granddaughters, Allyson, Josie and Mabel; his son Bill Burress (Lisa); his grandchildren, Corby and Brett; and his brother Daniel Burress (Gerri). He is also survived by 2 children, and 5 grandchildren.
